Welcome

Yoga has a long and rich history emerging from India over 5,000 years ago.

It incorporates physical poses, breathing, and meditation for a healthy and peaceful body and mind.

  •  Reduce stress and tension.  Yoga can reduce our stress hormone levels and lower our blood pressure and heart rate.  It can also help relieve the symptoms of anxiety, depression, fatigue, and insomnia.    

  •  Gain strength and endurance.  The yoga poses are designed to use our body weight as resistance to tone and strengthen the body from head to toe.  Yoga can help burn off extra calories and change the habits and patterns we have in relation to our health and well-being.

  •  Improve flexibility and balance.  It’s okay if touching our toes is challenging.  Overtime, our muscles, tendons, and ligaments begin to lengthen, our range of movement increases, our coordination improves, and those aches and pains may be reduced.

We offer 53 group classes for those wanting to practice in a community environment and 510 private sessions for people with hectic schedules or with specific needs and goals.  On our 511 Resources page you will learn how to get the most out of your next yoga class and additional information about yoga and holistic practitioners.

All instructors are certified in their field and have taught for many years.  Some of us are Adjunct Faculty at Central Arizona College.
